This vegan oat cheese is a delicious option to replace traditional cheese in your recipes. It is a vegan cheddar-style cheese made from healthy ingredients such as sweet potato, oatmeal, bell pepper, spices, and agar agar to give it texture.

Ingredients to make Vegan Oat Cheese:
1 small cooked sweet potato (about 150 g)
80 grams of oat flakes
1 can of roasted red peppers
4 tablespoons of brewer’s yeast
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch of pepper
3 tablespoons of agar agar powder
1⅓ cups of water
How to make Vegan Oat Cheese:
Step No 1
Place the chopped sweet potato (previously cooked or roasted), the oats, the roasted red pepper, the brewer’s yeast, the paprika, the lemon juice, the onion and garlic powder, the salt and the Pepper.
Step NO 2
Pour a cup of water into the blender and blend the vegan oatmeal cheese ingredients until smooth.
Step NO 3
In a separate saucepan, heat the rest of the water and the agar agar powder, stirring with the rods until a liquid gelatin forms . Pour the gelatin into the blender and blend again.
Next, pour the vegan cheddar cheese mixture into the molds or tuppers and leave it to cool in the fridge for an hour .
Unmold the vegan oatmeal cheese and voila!
