I have been wanting to eat a tortilla for days , but to make it you need to have stale bread and at home we do not usually have it, since we freeze it and we take it out as we need it. However, a couple of days ago I was rolling some bread around the pantry and I took the opportunity to make this delicious recipe, don’t miss it!
Ingredients to make bread omelette with sobrasada:
- 4 units of Eggs
- 150 grams of stale bread
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 branch of Parsley
- 1 slice of Sobrasada (to be able to be the one of pieces)
How to make bread omelette with sobrasada:
Step NO 1
Put the eggs in a bowl, add a pinch of salt to taste and beat well. Then, we add the bread cut into very thin slices , parsley, minced garlic and a little milk. We stir, we place a plate on top and, on it, some weight such as a package of rice. Let it rest for at least half an hour so that the bread is well soaked.
Step NO 2
After the resting time, mix and crush the bread with a fork so that it is well chopped. Add the sobrasada into pieces of the size you want, stir and let it rest for another 5-10 minutes.
Step NO 3
We put a pan with a little olive oil to heat. When it is hot, we pour the mixture and cook the tortilla de pan . Once it has set, we turn it over and cover the pan, let it cook over low heat. I turn it over with a plate.
Step NO 4
When we see that it is to our liking, we can remove it from the heat and serve it. The tortilla bread we really like at home, it reminds me of when my mother made me when I was little.
