Fill a glass with water to fill a little more than half and heat it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.

Crack the egg carefully to put it in the glass of water without breaking the yolk. Place a plate on top to cover the glass and generate steam and cook the poached egg in the microwave for 1 minute at maximum power. As the water is already hot, it will not be necessary more time, however, if you consider that it needs a little more, leave it for a few seconds, since 2 full minutes will be too long.
Tip: If you see that the white disperses too much, add a splash of vinegar, it will make the poached egg in the microwave be united and perfect.
Step NO 3

How to make a microwave poached egg with film
With the previous recipe you have learned how to prepare very simple poached eggs, however, if you do not have much experience it is possible that they will not remain with the expected shape the first few times. For this reason, we are going to share another recipe that is just as simple but that does guarantee the typical presentation in the form of a flower. Follow these steps :
- Cut a small sheet of plastic wrap, place it in a bowl and grease it with a little oil to make it easier to remove the egg once it is done.
- Crack the egg on the plastic wrap and close it into a sack. If you want, before closing the bag you can add salt and / or pepper to the egg.
- Place the bag in a glass or bowl with hot water and microwave the poached egg for 1 minute. After this time, check if it is cooked and remove it or leave it for a few more seconds.
- Ready! Open the bag carefully and serve the poached egg.
Both with this recipe and with the previous recipe it is essential to respect the times , since if you spend the yolk it will curdle and if you fall short the white will not cook.
