Ingredients to make Mallorcan Eggs:
- 4 Egg
- 4 slices of Mallorcan Sobrasada
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Majorcan Eggs:
Step NO 1
To make authentic Mallorcan eggs you need top quality ingredients and also the typical clay pots. Once you have all this, the first thing you should do is spread the pans with the butter.
Tip: So that the clay pots do not run the risk of breaking during cooking, I recommend you wet them under running water to moisten them well.
Step NO 2
Next, place two slices of sobrasada on each plate. If you do not have original leftover but the one that comes in pasta, then place two portions, such as two large tablespoons and spread them on the base of the casserole.
Tip: If you do not have these casseroles you can use small pans, as an individual plate.
Step NO 3
Finally, break the eggs so that they remain on the sobrasada and cook in the oven preheated to 175ºC. for about 810 minutes. You should check that the eggs are done and you will see how the sobrasada has melted slightly.
Step NO 4
