A very easy and refreshing recipe for hot weather. Learn how to prepare Hawaiian deviled eggs and start your meal or lunch time in an original and different way. The Hawaiian Eggs combines pineapple, apple, potatoes and peach … all seasoned with a dash of mayonnaise, mustard and lemon. So let’s go with the recipe!
Ingredients to make Hawaiian Eggs:
- 2 units of cooked white potato
- 5 pineapple slices
- 1 unit of Apple
- 5 units of Peaches
- 2 dessert spoons of Mayonnaise
- 1 dessert spoon of Mustard
- 1 unit of Lemon (juice)
How to make Hawaiian Eggs:
Step NO 1
First, we will do what is known as blanching the apple . This is to cook it for a few minutes in boiling water so that it is not hard. Then chop it into fine cubes. If you want, you can caramelize it with half a teaspoon of sugar, but it is not essential.
Step NO 2
Then chop the rest of the fruit and the cooked potatoes , finely, also into small cubes, to be able to easily fill the eggs.
Step NO 3
Cook the eggs in salted water and then chop them in half, lengthwise. Remember that for the cooked eggs to be good you must put them in the water when it is cold and when it boils, remove them from the heat and leave them to rest until cool.
Step NO 4
To complete the filling , mix all the ingredients, together with the yolk of the cooked eggs and season with mayonnaise, lemon juice and mustard. Mix well all the mixture and correct the seasoning to taste.
Step NO 5
Fill the eggs with the Hawaiian mixture helping you with a dessert spoon.
Step NO 6
We accompany the Hawaiian eggs with some fried sweet potatoes or some sweet potato or banana chips . Serve as a starter and enjoy.
