Easy to make Boiled Eggs Recipe for Kids – Dinosaurs

To cook for children must use creativity and sometimes disguising food is a good strategy to eat everything they need. This time you will learn how to make some fun boiled eggs , decorated as if they were dinosaur eggs or dragon eggs , which will surely make your children fight to eat!

Ingredients to make Boiled Eggs for Kids – Dinosaurs:

  • 3 units of Egg
  • Red food coloring
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Blue food coloring
  • 3 units of plastic bags

How to make Boiled Eggs for Kids – Dinosaurs:

Step NO 1

The first step is to boil the eggs . To do this, place the eggs in a saucepan with cold water and bring to medium heat until boiling.

Step NO 2

For the hard-boiled eggs to be firm and well done, once the water comes to a boil, turn off the flame and cover the pot . Let it sit until the water reaches room temperature.

Step NO 3

When the water has cooled to room temperature, run the eggs in cold water. Now, with the help of a knife or fork, gently tap the peel causing it to crack all over. Look at the photograph.

Step NO 4

Next, place each cracked egg inside the plastic bags. Add the mix of color you want for the dinosaur eggs in each of the bags and reserve. I have used the following:

  • Green: 10 drops of blue food coloring and 10 drops of yellow
  • Red: 20 drops of red food coloring
  • Blue: 20 drops of blue food coloring

Step NO 5

After about 15 minutes, you will see that the egg is completely painted. Rinse well with water and allow to drain on a wire rack or strainer for a few minutes until dry.

Step NO 6

When it is dry you can peel the shell of the dinosaur eggs . You will see that the cracks have painted figures inside the boiled egg. Make sure they are very dry, otherwise you will end up with painted hands.

Step NO 7

Decorate the boiled dinosaur eggs for children with the shells and serve with a pink sauce or prepare a salad. And if you have dye left over, you can also make colored spaghetti .
