Ingredients to make baked potato omelette with bacon:
- 10 Eggs
- 1 pound of Potato
- ¼ pound of Onion
- 125 grams of Bacon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or cream
How to make baked potato omelette with bacon:
Step No 1
To make this potato omelette, the first step is to get the ingredients ready. To do this, peel the potato and cut it into thin slices, the big onion into feathers and aside, beat the eggs with the milk cream and chop the finely chopped bacon.
Step NO 2
Cook the potatoes with a pinch of salt to taste. To make an omelette, the potatoes need to be fried until tender, but not crisp. Besides, fry the bacon together with the onion.
Step No 3
In a refractory or oven-safe mold, add the potatoes and the sautéed bacon with onion in layers. Then little by little pour the beaten egg with heavy cream.
Hit the mold on the sides so that the liquid is distributed everywhere and fills the spaces of the potato and sofrito layers.
Step No 4
Finally, bake the potato omelette for 20-25 minutes at 160ºC. To check that it is ready, you can do the same as with homemade cakes , that is, stick a knife in the center to check that it comes out clean.
